Welcome to Soltag. By accessing, downloading, or using the Soltag mobile application ("App") or any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, connecting a wallet, or using Soltag in any capacity, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Soltag.

2. Description of Service

Soltag is a decentralized social tagging and reputation protocol built on the Solana blockchain. The App enables users to create, discover, and interact with on-chain tags and reputation scores associated with Solana wallet addresses. Soltag operates on decentralized smart contracts, and certain functions are immutable once executed on-chain.

3. Wallet Connection & User Responsibility

To use Soltag, you must connect a compatible Solana wallet. You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys
  • All activities that occur under your wallet address
  • Ensuring you have sufficient SOL for transaction fees
  • Verifying all transaction details before signing

Soltag will never ask for your private keys or seed phrase. Never share this information with anyone.

4. Blockchain Transactions

All transactions executed through Soltag are processed on the Solana blockchain and are irreversible. You acknowledge that:

  • Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed, cancelled, or refunded
  • Transaction fees (gas) are non-refundable
  • Network congestion may affect transaction speed and costs
  • Tags and reputation data stored on-chain are permanent and publicly visible

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use Soltag to:

  • Create false, misleading, or defamatory tags about other users
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Manipulate reputation scores through coordinated inauthentic behavior
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the protocol
  • Attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in the smart contracts

6. No Financial Advice

Tags, rankings, reputation scores, and any other information displayed on Soltag are generated by users or algorithms and do not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should conduct your own research and consult with qualified professionals before making any financial decisions. Soltag is not a financial services provider.

7. Intellectual Property

The Soltag name, logo, visual design, and proprietary technology are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent. User-generated content (tags) remains owned by users but is licensed to Soltag for display and protocol operation.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

SOLTAG IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. USE OF SOLTAG IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLTAG AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF FUNDS, DATA, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR PROTOCOL.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Soltag and its contributors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of third parties.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Soltag after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Soltag shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
